Spiritual Care Ministries
Spiritual care at All Saints' is the ministry of us all, both clergy and laity, to bring kindness, care, or simply a presence to those in need or joy. Spiritual care may mean a call to one preparing for surgery, a hospital visit to someone recuperating from an illness, or time spent with a senior citizen making the transition to assisted living. It could include a note of encouragement to someone facing a life crisis or a message of congratulations to someone who is starting a new job. Spiritual care is the sound of knitting needles busily creating a prayer shawl for someone in distress, or a priest giving words of encouragement to one who struggles with her faith.
