Bound Together
Bound Together, a tutoring program for children in the Pontiac school district, was founded by members of All Saints' and several retired Pontiac teachers as a small after school learning program. Several years latter the program added a Kids’ Café dinner through the  efforts of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Rochester, Michigan. In 1999, Bound Together became a non-profit tax-exempt corporation and reached out to include others from the community on its Board and as tutors. In addition to its primary mission of providing one-on-one supplementary teaching in reading, math, and science throughout the school year, Bound Together hosts holiday parties, summer programs, and  field trips. Funding is raised through private donations, local churches, grants from charitable foundations, and other partners in ministry.
